Agricultural Society · 62nd Gidgegannup Agricultural Show

The Country Show on the city doorstep. Heritage style show exhibitions will take place side by side with quirky new events at the 62nd Gidgegannup Agricultural Show on October 25, 2008 at Gidgegannup Showgrounds. Located 15 minutes from Midland along Toodyay Road, Gidgegannup provides a taste of the rural lifestyle on the doorstep of the city.

The 2008 Gidgegannup Agricultural Society Show will showcase all the customary aspects of an Australian country show, plus launch some new events with a twist! Jack Russell racing is a chance to see this popular family pet in a new speedy light. The wide variety of food and drinks on offer will round out a great country-style family day.

Over 2500 exhibits will feature in 24 competition sections including Art, Home Produce, Floriculture, Cattle, Goats and Poultry. Pony Club events, a petting nursery, sideshow alley and live performances will entertain visitors of all ages.

The 2008 Gidgegannup Agricultural Show is taking place from 9am to 7.30pm on Saturday 25 October, at the Gidgegannup Showgrounds. Free off-road parking is available to the public off Old Toodyay Road (Opposite Bunning Road). Entry to the show is $8 for adults, and only $2 for primary and secondary school students.
