The Noble Falls picnic area has a walk of approximately 1 km and has a degree of difficulty of around 2 out of 10 with 10 being the most difficult. Noble Falls bushland has approximately 4 km of trails on it but a circumnavigation of the block is approx 2.5k m with a rating of 3 out of 10.

F.R. Berry Reserve has a walk of 2.7 km, mostly flat with one steeper section with gravel surface. There are also up to 5 km of other fire break walk trails on F.R. Berry Reserve, but they do leave the boundaries of the Reserve from time to time and have ratings up to 7 and 8 out of 10.

EMRC · Resource Recovery Facility PER


The Environmental Protection Authority has authorised the EMRC to release its Public Environmental Review (PER) for public comment. There will be an 8 week period from 23rd July, 2012 to 17th September 2012.

Copies are obtainable online or in person at a local library. Printed copies (cd included) of the complete PER can be purchased for $10.00 (inc. GST/postage & handling) or free of charge in CD format only, from: EMRC, 1st Floor Ascot Place, 226 Great Eastern Highway, Belmont, WA 6104 (9424 2222) or Red Hill Waste Management Facility, 1094 Toodyay Road, Red Hill, WA 6056 (9574 6235).

Public information sessions will be held at the Agricultural Society Hall, Toodyay Road, Gidgegannup on Monday, 13th August, 2012 from 6.00 pm - 8.00pm. Session requires RSVP by 8th August by calling 9424 2222 or email.
