The inaugural “Countryman Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day” was held at the Gidgegannup Showgrounds on Sunday 29th of June 2008.

The event proved to be a day packed full of a diverse range of information and advice on all aspects of a small farm, the opportunity to visit open farms, animal shows and sale plus the latest product and equipment demonstrations. Not to mention a great day out for the whole family!

The best known local event is the annual Gidgegannup Agricultural Show. The Gidge Show - as it is also known - is held each year on the last Saturday of October.
