Police

Always report any theft to the Police. All information will be recorded and may match up with other reported incidents.

When reporting an incident always stress why you consider it to be important. But remember that Police resources are limited so that it is not always possible to send an officer to you immediately.

Police are requesting Hills residents to be more vigilant in securing their firearms. Mundaring Police said two firearms and a firearm safe were stolen from a Hills home in a robbery. The safe had not been secured in the proper manner. People who own firearms must always secure their safe appropriately.

Residents are also warned to remember to close windows and lock their doors. Many people are still leaving their windows open which is an open invitation to a burglar.
